Black radishes have been grown and savored in Europe since the 1500s. With handsome black skins, the large turnip-shaped globes have crisp, pungent, spicy pure-white flesh. As they can be really spicy and have a thick skin, we recommend you try them gently steamed or stir-fried.

This particular variety is also valued for its medicinal properties.
